Psalm 105:1-6

There is so much to thank and praise God for that even if we did it with every breath, it wouldn’t begin to cover it all! We are to let the whole world know. We are to tell of His wonderful deeds and get His message out.
How do you search for the Lord? It’s not like you can go to a destination in the natural. He has put within each of us the ability to know Him and that ability is unlocked by a desire to know Him.
Consider God’s invitation found in Jeremiah 29:13-14 NASB1995:
“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord,…”
We need to seek God with our heart. Where is our heart? Within…
Consider this invitation by Jesus in Revelations 3:20:
““Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”
Revelation 3:20 NLT

Our relationship with God is internal. He speaks to us in our hearts, not our heads. We can see His works everywhere in creation, but to know Him we must look within. The Kingdom of God extends out from within us.
Consider what the Apostle Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20:
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT

A temple is where God resides and we are that temple when we accept Jesus as Lord and invite Him in.
Romans 10:8-11 states it this way:
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.””
Romans 10:9-11 NLT

Notice it doesn’t say, “if you believe in your head”, but rather if you believe in your heart. Our heart is the ‘portal’, if you will, where we connect with God, where we speak with God, and where He resides. Some things are just too wonderful for comprehension, like life, but we accept it by faith. As King David said in Psalms 139:6:
“Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”
Psalms 139:6 NLT

He is too wonderful and too great to fully understand, and yet He desires for us to come to know Him.
How can we resist such an invitation?
