Psalm 145:14-17

God is always watching over us. As David states, “The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.”Have you ever felt bent beneath your load? I know I have. Sometimes it was the result of taking on too much, and other times life simply landed hard on me. Whatever the reason, God always ensures we get through it when we invite His help.
Some choose not to bother Him with the small things—as if they were a burden to Him. They aren’t. In fact, it’s far better to bring the small things to Him before they grow into big things. Sometimes we put off dealing with challenges, allowing them to pile up, and then we find ourselves facing a much bigger mess.
God wants to be included in everything we do. Do we invite Him into our day? I feel blessed by the Lord and am grateful for His kindness. He is described by many attributes—all-powerful, all-knowing—yet do we truly recognize that God is kind? God is kind even when the world is not. The world may give up on us, but in His kindness, God never will. It is His kindness that allows His blessings to fall on both the righteous and the unrighteous. It is His kindness that leads people to repentance. Knowing we deserve His wrath and yet He showers us with love instead—who can resist that?
