Psalm 111:1-6

Everything God does reveals His glory and majesty and as David states, all who delight in God should ponder them. Do we ponder His deeds, His provisions, His love, His righteousness, His forgiveness, His faithfulness, His deliverance, and His purposes in our lives? He never forgets His covenant with us.
But we must realize that there is more to life than just what affects us. As Pastor Gerald Brooks always says, “You haven’t begun to live until you realize your life is not about yourself!” It is when we get outside of ourselves that we begin to see what God has put all around us. I experience wonder every time I watch a sunset with all its magnificent colors; or as I sit on the beach and just take in the views and listen to the waves lap the shore; as take in the beautiful scenery of the mountains with their occasional waterfalls. I wonder at the joy of having children and grandchildren and how uniquely individual they all are. His creation, in its many forms, speaks of His wonder. There is none like God and He is worthy of all our praise.
