The Kidz at Solid Rock Christian Church kicked off National Prayer Week by learning about prayer during Kidz Church followed by a Prayer Balloon Release afterwards with the church family. Each youth attached a prayer request to his/her balloon and then watched as their prayer floated up towards heaven after release.
This was a wonderful illustration of how our requests and praise rise up to God through prayer. In reality, we don't need balloons to have God receive our prayers…just a heart that is turned toward Him!
